Usually, yes. Because the eSIM connects through international roaming rather than a local UAE SIM, WhatsApp and FaceTime voice and video calls — often blocked on local networks — tend to work as they do at home.

Yes — a UAE plan works across all seven emirates on the same eSIM, so you stay connected driving between Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah with no switching.

An eSIM is a digital SIM card built into your phone. No physical card needed — just scan a QR code from your email or My eSIMs section to activate your plan instantly.

Compatibility

iPhone XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20+, Google Pixel 3+ and most phones from 2018 onwards support eSIM. Go to Settings → About — if you see an EID number, you are compatible.

Yes — our plans are data only. Your regular SIM stays active for calls and SMS. You stay reachable on your usual number while your eSIM handles data abroad.

Most phones store up to 5-10 eSIM profiles but only one can be active for data at a time. You can switch between them anytime in your phone settings.

Your plan starts at your first network connection at destination — not at purchase. Install at home, travel freely, your days only count when you actually use it abroad.

Yes — all our plans include hotspot at no extra cost. Share your connection with your laptop or tablet directly from your phone settings.

Single country plans work in one country only. If you visit multiple destinations, check our regional plans — Europe covers 33 countries, Asia 20, Worldwide 118 and more.

Yes — you can top up your plan at any time from My eSIMs. Important: top up before your plan expires, as top-ups cannot be applied to expired plans.

Installation

After purchase, find your QR code in your confirmation email or in My eSIMs. Go to Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM → Scan QR code. You need WiFi for installation.

Install it before you leave — it only needs WiFi. Switch it as your data line only when you arrive at your destination. Your plan starts automatically at first local network connection.

Yes — enable data roaming for your eSIM Agora line in Settings → Mobile Data → select your eSIM → Data Roaming on. Without this, your eSIM cannot connect to local networks abroad.

Make sure you are on WiFi. Each QR code works only once — if already scanned, go to My eSIMs to reinstall. Still not working? Contact us at support@esimagora.com and we will fix it quickly.

Payment & Support

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Completely — Stripe handles all payments and is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We never store your card details. Every transaction is SSL encrypted.

First check: is data roaming enabled? Is the right eSIM selected for data? If yes and still not working, email us at support@esimagora.com — we respond within 24 hours.

Unlimited Data

You get a set amount of high-speed data each day (e.g. 1 GB/day). Once you've used that daily quota, you keep browsing at reduced speed (1 Mbps) — never cut off. Every day, your high speed starts fresh.

Fixed (e.g. 5 GB/30 days): one total amount of data to manage over the whole period, at full speed until it runs out. Unlimited: a daily quota that renews, so you're never completely out. Ideal if you'd rather not track your usage, or if you're staying a while.

You switch to 1 Mbps (enough for WhatsApp, maps and browsing, but not HD streaming). It goes back to full speed the next day.

About every 24 h after your first connection (it can vary by carrier — not necessarily at midnight).

Yes — via "Add days" while it's still active (not expired). It adds days, not extra daily data.
